Endomed’s venture into manufacturing was a decision taken by management to assist in the growth of the company and to provide quality goods at affordable pricing locally and abroad. Over the years, Endomed has gained prestige and acknowledgement while satisfying their clients’ needs and responding to a growing demand of niche products. Using the most advanced technology and delivering superior quality products has allowed Endomed to gain access to local and International markets.
Due to the favourable response to our quality products from our clientele, Endomed was forced to expand exponentially and today operates from more than 1000sqm of manufacturing space, incorporating state of the art clean room facilities, Ethylene Oxide steriliser, straight cutting machines and a linen saver machine whilst employing close on to fifty staff in their manufacturing facilities only.
This has created jobs for previously disadvantaged black females, who have been trained and skilled in their respective duties, and who have now become bread winners of their families. This firmly entrenches Endomed’s commitment to local community upliftment!
Endomed continues to invest in new machinery with the potential of ultimately supplying the African Continent.
Our innovative approach has allowed us to capture a niche market of healthcare professionals, whilst being flexible enough to customize our products and packaging to our customer’s exact requirements.
We are proud to be one of very few Companies in South Africa to hold the ISO13485 medical devices manufacturing standard, which runs concurrently with ISO9001. Both these Quality Management Systems are accredited by the South African Bureau of Standards (SABS).
